The One with the Hand Cramps

Ok, so this will be *hopefully* the most boring blog post I ever write. I say hopefully because I'm aware that this is a pretty dull blog post and because I hope that every blog post I write hereafter will be much more exciting. That being said, I'm trying to faithfully document every accomplishment of my 101 in 1001, so here goes.

This weekend, while aimlessly wandering Wal-Mart with my sister-in-law, I found an address book I liked and bought it (along with some more Christmas decorations for our house. Woo hoo, less than 2 months till Christmas!) So anyway, I spent Sunday filling in the address book (item 96 accomplished) and had a BLAST writing out some of our wedding gift thank you cards. I'm anxious to get those done. This Sunday will be three months since our wedding, and I'd really like to have these cards off our to do list! I just get so bored with writing the same "Thank you so much for ______! We really appreciate it and can't wait to use it." Of course, we really do love and appreciate so much everything people got for us, but I'm not so fond of the hand cramps after writing 40 thank you notes!

Also accomplished since my last post: I finished Barack Obama's Dreams from My Father. My goal was to get it done before the election, and I did. I'm not sure what book I'm going to start next. I'm in the middle of 3 or 4 Dalkey books, but I also want to pick something else off my shelf that I've had for a while. (While simultaneously resisting the urge to reread the Twilight series before the movie comes out next month . . .)
